To install an Audi TT wind deflector belt, you must first remove the rear deflector cover and front trim for the convertible top compartment. Next lower the deflector panel completely and use pliers to press the wind deflector housing inward on the left and right sides to reduce tension on the toothed polybelt. With a second person, remove the old belt from the splines and press the spindles down fully before positioning the new belt onto the pulleys
